This year Mudfest partnered with Lifted Youth and Mental Health Foundation and we couldn't be more proud. Lifted stands for raising one kid at a time. When a mom reached out on Facebook wanting to put up posters to raise money for an accessible park, we knew we had to get behind it.
The PAC committee is fundraising to build an accessible park at the Dawson Creek school. If you have a kid with a disability, or someone in your family with a disability, you know how isolating that can feel. We don't want that for the kids in Dawson Creek. Every kid deserves to play. In whatever form that looks like.
Mudfest and Lifted are 100% behind it. We're also running a 50/50 all weekend long. All proceeds go towards building this accessible park. Come have a barbecue with our family and support the families who need it.
