Jason Blaine — Friday, August 21
Jason Blaine was born to sing, write, play guitar and entertain. With over 13 Top 10 singles in Canada — including “They Don’t Make ‘Em Like That Anymore,” “Country Side,” “Dance With My Daughter,” and the recent smash “The Road That Raised You Up” — he has remained at the forefront of the Canadian music scene for over a decade. He is also a respected hit-crafter for artists including Chris Janson, Parmalee, Brantley Gilbert, and Scotty McCreery.
Originally from Pembroke, Ontario, Blaine burst onto the scene in 2007 with his first #1 hit “Rock In My Boot.” His 2012 CCMA Single of the Year “They Don’t Make ‘Em Like That Anymore” became a generational anthem, while “Dance With My Daughter” was featured on Good Morning America with over 5 million streams. A multiple CCMA, SOCAN & CMAO award winner with six full-length albums and 25+ million digital streams, Jason has headlined festivals including Big Valley Jamboree, Boots & Hearts, and Dauphin Country Fest.

Hip-Hop / Rap
Merkules — Saturday, August 22
Merkules is a platinum-selling and award-winning Canadian hip-hop artist from Surrey, British Columbia. A Monster Energy-sponsored artist, he has amassed billions of streams and views with his signature “hangover-rap” style. His collaborators read like a who’s who of hip-hop — Jelly Roll, Kevin Gates, The Game, Benny the Butcher, Tech N9ne, DMX, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, and many more. In 2024, he supported Snoop Dogg on the “Cali to Canada” tour and opened for Ice Cube.
With over 1 billion views on multiple YouTube videos, five consecutive #1 iTunes hip-hop albums, and a Platinum-certified single (“Gon Die ft. Stevie Ross”), Merkules has ranked #1 on Billboard’s Rising Artists Chart. His music appeared in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2, and he was featured on Dr. Phil in 2020. Currently recording a new album for Death Row Records, Merkules continues to push boundaries while championing mental health in his lyrics.
