Can I camp at the festival?
Absolutely! Camping passes can be purchased along with your tickets. Reserved spots are limited and can only be purchased through the VIP Packages
When can we arrive for first-come, first-serve camping?
Camping gates will open at 3pm Wednesday, August 14th. Early camp fee is $10 per person. Please note that unless you have purchased a VIP Package with reserved camping, camping spots will be assigned on a first come, first served basis.
What if we have a large group and we all want to camp together?
A member of your group will need to show up as early as possible to claim your area. Please coordinate through camping@thefestivalcompany.com
Are RVs and Motorhomes allowed on-site?
Of course! We accommodate all RVs, tents, and motorhomes in our camping area. All camp sites are 20’ x 40′ or 20′ x 30′ in “The Cantine”. Your Vehicle MUST FIT IN YOUR SITE. Every member in your camp area must have a camp wristband
Can I have a campfire at my campsite?
Unfortunately, no. Open fires are 100% prohibited. Any CSA approved propane fire pits are welcome though.
Does the festival pass get me into watch both the mud racing and the concerts?
Yes. Whether you purchase a day pass or a weekend pass, the price of admission gets you in to experience all aspects of the festival.
If I just want to go to racing and not the concerts, is there a discounted pass?
There are no discounted prices, however, Sunday is family day and the blow out party and tickets start at just $29 + tax and fees. There is racing all day on Sunday, along with our awards and blowout party.
Am I allowed to bring outside food or beverage into the festival grounds?
No outside food or beverage is allowed, unless you are travelling with infant children and need bottles and snacks.
Are children under the age of 18 allowed at the festival?
We are 100% licensed for all ages, with the exception of our afterhours saloon, which only allows minors entrance on Thursday and Sunday nights. Those over 18 must carry Valid Photo ID. Kids under 12 are free but do require a wristband which will be provided and MUST be accompanied by an adult
Can I bring lawn chairs into the grounds?
Lawn chairs are not allowed into the grounds. Bleacher seating is available in the mud area as well as in our concert zone.
Are there ATMs onsite?
Absolutely. We have several ATMs on the festival site in multiple areas for your convenience.
What happens if I lose my wristband?
All wristbands are non-refundable and non-transferrable. We do not replace lost, damaged or stolen wristbands/tickets.
Can I bring a pet to Mudfest?
We highly suggest that pets stay at home. If you need to bring a pet you may only camp in the Cantine camping. Pets must remain in your camp area and tied up. Absolutely no pets are allowed in the show site and should you leave your pet at your site, it must be tied up inside your trailer or tent.
When is racer registration open until?
You may register up until race day, however early bird rates will be in effect. You will pay more at the gate and your race category may be full. We recommend signing up and purchasing ahead of time. We also have ticket insurance available for purchase in the event you are unable to make it.
Is there a lost & found on site?
Yes. All lost items will be brought to our production office. Email extrememudfestalberta@gmail.com to check if your lost item was returned to our office.
Can I bring a quad/motorbike to get around on?
Absolutely no motorised vehicles are allowed unless you are a registered racer and your machine must remain in the designated racer area.

What is the refund policy?
Mudfest does not offer refunds. Occasionally, concerts are cancelled or postponed. Should this occur, we will attempt to contact you to inform you of our new dates and procedures. If the event was moved or rescheduled, Extreme Mudfest will not be issuing refunds, but will honour all tickets to the rescheduled event .
If Extreme Mudfest deems you eligible for a refund and we issue you a refund for a ticket due to a cancelled or postponed event, we will issue a refund of the ticket’s face value paid (or, for a discounted ticket, then instead the discounted ticket price paid), less service fees. In no event will service fees, handling and delivery charges, or any other amounts be refunded. If a refund is issued, it will be issued using the same method of payment that was used to purchase the tickets. We will not be liable for travel or any other expenses that you or anyone else incurs in connection with a cancelled or postponed event.
